Puppies and Kittens Care
Now as for new born puppies and kittens you will do not do much. Just keep mamma feed and happy. All you have to do is really vet appointments, food train them (to the bowl). Other than that nothing. Mamma feeds, and bathes, and everything else.
Sometimes momma might not care for them or something might have happen that mamma is no longer around. So what do you do? Everything. Feed them milk by small pet bottle or surenge. Not just any milk however. Puppy milk, kitten milk, or goat's milk (add a little water to water goat's milk down can be to thick). Add a little Vit. C to milk every now and then. Must feed every 2 to 4 hours. The older they get the more the eat and eat more often. Bath them daily/often with just warm water or pet wipes (place 1 or 2 in microwive for about 5 secs.). Wipe eyes daily with warm water on a cotton ball (softly). You will have to help them use the rest room. With a cotton ball add warm water and rub private areas softly til they "go". Do this after every feeding. Make sure to use a clean dry one to clean them off. It is very hard and takes time! Keep them in a warm dry place. Keep cover, warm water bottle with them.
Around 4 weeks you can start bowl training. Add soft food to a bowl.
You can add a little of their milk with the food to help them eat it. Make sure to give milk/water now from bowl. They will fight you on this and be stuburn. Sooner or later they will get hungry enough and give in.
All puppies and kittens are fun but a lot of work at all age stages. You have to keep up with vet check ups, play with them, they have to have excerise, toys. You have to pet proof you house as if you would for you kids. Cords must be put of. No sharp ages. Crates for when you are not home. Plenty of food and water. Make sure you study on you pet and type of pet. Love it daily and care for it. It is God's creature..we all share our home earth!
